How to Use the Global Tool

The Global Early Warning Tool uses a machine learning-based methodology to forecast conflict over the next 12 months. The aim of the Global Tool is to help relevant actors identify conflict hotspots before violence erupts and understand the local context. Once every three months, we release updated 12-month forecasts to meet user demand for early warning information.
